Most acne treatments on the market today are based on cleansing and sterilising creams, gels and lotions – Zeno Acne is different. What Causes Acne?

The claim that Zeno Acne destroys spots within 24 hours seem to be confirmed by most of the reviews online and the only review I found that said the effects were minimal was from a person who was already taking anti bacterial medication, which would affect the results.

Zeno Acne does not clear the blocked pores or remove the excess oil. Also it has no effect on the 10% of acne that is not caused by a P. acne infection. It will not therefore help with smaller blackheads and whiteheads.

In reviews most people have found that Zeno Acne is highly effective on larger traditional acne spots, though there were some concerns about the cost of the system. As the head cartridge is only good for a limited number of treatments and you need to replace it after 60 to 90 treatments, if your acne is particularly severe you may find it a significant on-going cost.

The units cost around about $115 to $130 from most online suppliers and replacement cartridges are between $25 and $35 each. As each cartridge lasts for about 90 treatments and each spot takes up to 3 treatments then cost per spot in not cheap.

After each treatment the area of the skin treated with Zeno Acne is left with a red circular patch which fades after about 30 minutes, so be aware not to use it just before having your photo taken.

Zeno Acne works for 90% of all spots and usually within 24 hours. It is expensive, but it is also effective. It is still a good idea to use skin cleansing in addition to the Zeno Acne treatments and to maintain a healthy lifestyle with plenty of water, fresh vegetables and regular exercise.
