acne is an internal response to the body getting rid if toxins. Taking another drug just ads to the toxins.
All of my friends cured there acne by cleaning out the inside of the body.
One of the drugs I took a few years back from the doctor almost stopped my kidneys from working.
They don’t tell you when you take there drugs when you get older all the complications you receive.

just forget about the acne! its just your outside look and it doesnt matter. what matter is your health or your life than the looks. i suggest drink alot of water like 8-12 glasses and stop eating oily foods and wash your face before you go to sleep.

haha yeah maybe for about half the people who use it actually get results from it, I tried it twice and both times I had a terrible reaction to it which made me breakout terribly and everyone I’ve talked to had similar problem with it, so I personally don’t recommend Proactive, the best thing I’ve found it to use very few products at all and simply use a soup with no pore clogging ingredients like Cetaphil :)

She didn’t even mention drinking more water. Seriously, drinking a lot of water helped with my acne. I would drink one large glass before anything I ate/any non-water drink I drank, and that made my skin look fantastic.

they have tested that on National Geographic…. Drinking water makes no difference

Bullshit! I still get cystic acne breakouts every month, about “that” time. So annoying. The only time that my skin stayed clear was while I was on the birth control pill. Frankly, I don’t want to take the pill any longer. I take fantastic care of my skin and I am 31. Not one month goes by that I don’t get 5-7 painful blemishes. ugh!

I had bad acne during my high school years. I was almost certain that it would be gone by the time I was in college…yeah senior year and I still get it…so junior year I said enough is enough and tried the proactive stuff. And it freaking worked! Now as long as I keep putting it on acne stays away…only prob is when I don’t put it on…it comes right back…

I use Acne Tab from speedyherbcare. It is the Acne medication without having any harmful side effects. It is a slow medication process but now I am getting good results.

You’re totally right. Drinking more water helps a lot. Avoiding spicy, sour, greasy and acidic foods will help too.

I had a very bad situation with a dermatologist, she turned out to be very mean and the prescription that she gave me expired 3 days after i bought it and I couldn’t sleep because of the pain x.x never returned to any since then… I’ll just have to deal with it =(

  • thehomieDaniel

@nanfesii you should sue her for giving you expired product and for the pain cause by the product.

very bad advice. acutane is dangerous

  • taijacmonkey

ive been on accutane. nothing bad ever happened to me. in fact, i’m enjoying having clear skin for once in my life.

@iamcasihart yes i agree with u same exact prob w me i also get simple on the off time too. wat do u do for ur cystic acne?? nothing i tried so far really helps n mine hurt so much i get them on jaw line n chin

  • iamcasihart

@rajkumaijaan2 I still suffer with it. Mine are around the jawline & on my cheeks, near my hair line. I use Clearasil Foaming Face wash, (it has triclosan in it, an antibacterial). It helps some. I always moisturize my face with something gentle. Aveeno has great moisturizers. I have been searching for an acne cream containing sulfur. Sulfur works so much better than BP or SA. It is difficult to find though. “Adult Care Clearasil” is a good one. If you can find it, get it! Best of luck. =)

Actually I didn’t get more than 1-2 pimples a year UNTIL I went to college… now its monthly, ICK
p.s. I got lucky and did find a way to gently pop pimples (with a towel or tissue) when they’re too sore for acne medicine to get through and a skin regimen of poly or neosporin w/ a scar preventative afterwards to get skin to remain scar-free and clear :D
