I can completly relate to the situation you were in :) .

  • burning4rmwithin

omg. I’m in that situation right now. Well…I never had severe acne or anything but when I get one pimple I freak out completely. What’s worse is that I usually get it on my nose =(. So I’ve had this pimple on my nose for 2-3 days now…and just this morning it became a scab. I was so embarrassed by it that when I got to school…I drove home because it looked so bad. This is really sad because I have not missed school ever in 6 years or since 7th grade.

  • highonhealth

Wow, not missed school in 6 years – that’s impressive. The best thing to do with a pimple on your nose is not touch it. Because if it scabs it will take way longer to heal …so if you don’t touch it, it’ll be on your nose for less time.

  • burning4rmwithin

too late. picked the scab too. talk about OCD…I pick at everything on my face..and I have 3 different mirrors in my bad. It’s looking better though so hopefully it’ll be gone by the end of this week.

  • highonhealth

Yeah a lesson learnt this time I guess!! I picked 2 pimples on my nose until I worked out that it was a really bad idea. Also try and get rid of your mirrors, especially if they’re hand mirrors. They’ll only make you pick and obsess more. Getting rid of mine was very liberating.

  • burning4rmwithin

I can’t get rid of my mirrors =(. how am I going to check if I have food on my teeth when my friends aren’t around? haha. Anyhooz..my skin is different from most people. It heals a lot faster if I just popped the the pimple and put some neosporin on it.

  • najiawad

i think anyone had pimples for more then 3 months can related to others like i started 1 one pimple and i thouhg it will go if i pick it and now end up on accutane 2 years latter i just wana know will the scars go too?

  • highonhealth

If the scars are red or brown marks on the skin they will fade with time – this can take up to 2 years but they will go. If the scars are deep pits or lumps then you’re best to visit a dermatologist for advice on your options because these can be permanent.

Hi there, if you haven’t done so already, send me a direct message and I’ll help you find a good solution for your skin condition.

  • haltham20

sorry but how do i do that?

  • lyrynne

really?? it’ll take 2 years to fade?? omg~ is there any product that can make it go away fast?? i know that licorice cream or tea tree extract can make it less visible…but is there any other way that you know??

  • highonhealth

No, 2 years is the worst case I’ve heard of. Mine take a month only – it depends on your scars and your skin.

You could look into using lemon juice, a lot of people swear by it but I haven’t tried it myself.

“Completely consumes my entire life.” I know the way you feel, and I am in my 30′s.

Hey , i just was looking on the internet for acne treatments and im going to give your course a go. i’m starting roaccutane in a few days. which to be perfectly honest quiet nervous about. i don’t like the sound of suicide thoughts etc however. like anyone with acne i just wanna get rid of it so bad. I’ve had it for a year and EVERYTHING i tried has had very limited success. so I’m sceptical about roaccutanee

    Hi Fran,

I was good to meet you last night. It is so great to see someone doing what they love via blogging. This ‘about’ video is really down to earth and makes your site very approachable. So congratulations.

And wow! Over 100 videos and counting. Very cool. As mentioned I make a few videos myself so check them out.

As for you skin, I never would have thought you had any skin trouble. :)

  • capello90
